NSF has granted $382,000 – Announced June 15, 2020
Good news! NSF has granted $382,000 to the Workforce Development for New Generation of Cyber Security Systems superheated by Dr. Thabet Kacem of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) and the Co-PI’s Dr. Anteneh Girma (CSIT), Dr Sasan Haghani (ECE) and Dr. Lei Wang (CE).
The Workforce Development for New Generation of Cyber Security Systems project will provide support for exposing our undergraduate students with state-of-the-art cyber security field. This will also help us to recruit more students into the STEM fields, create the awareness in the community about the societal relevance of design through the theme of the cyber security. it will also provide a platform for faculty collaboration in teaching and research.
