Bachelor of Science in Psychology

Ready to pursue your dream of becoming a leading scientific professional in your field? Earn a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from the University of the District of Columbia! Not only do we offer class sizes of 25 to 30 students on average, but we also provide an experimental curriculum with many opportunities for outside-the-classroom learning, including:

  • Psychology clinics
  • Five-minute elevator speech practices
  • Senior thesis defenses prepared for possible conferences
  • Research forums

Psychology Students

At UDC, we strive to provide nuanced teachings from the minds of our brilliant faculty members, all of whom have real-world experience in the field that they bring to your classroom. Many of our faculty have been recognized for their research, including one who has received two NSF (National Science Foundation) grants. As part of our robust curriculum, we will provide you with a variety of skills and knowledge with a focus on the application of psychological sciences and culture to recognize unique mental processes and behaviors.
