All students seeking to receive VA Educational Benefits must complete a UDC VA Education Enrollment Form.
If you have been approved for the Vocational Rehabilitation Program, you will need to ensure that your assigned Department of Veteran Affairs case manager has submitted an authorization (DVA 22-1905; Authorization and Certification of Entrance or Re-Entrance into Rehabilitation and Certification of Status) to UDC Veteran Services Office before the start of the semester you will be attending. You will also need to complete the UDC VA Education Enrollment Request Form.
Students that have been approved for Chapter 31 (Vocational Rehabilitation) benefits should know that the VA will cover the tuition for your pre-approved program. Additionally, the VA will cover all required textbooks and up to $50 in supplies per semester. Should your supplies exceed the $50 limit, you must meet with the Director of Military and Veteran Student Services, Sequoyah Adebayo.
Every semester, you must complete the UDC VA Education Enrollment Request Form. This alerts the university that you would like us to request funds from the VA to cover your expenses. Before getting textbooks from the bookstore, you must pick up a book voucher from the Director of Military and Veteran Student Services, Sequoyah Adebayo.
