Fleet Management is charged with meeting the transportation needs of faculty and staff by managing a motor pool of over 20 vehicles that are used to conduct official university business.
Services Provided
- Plan and coordinate transportation requests
- Order new vehicles and towing services (upon request)
- Motor vehicle property disposal
- Coordinate maintenance, scheduled service, and repairs provided by Department of Public Works
- Compliance and data reporting to external stakeholders
- Maintain fuel management systems
- Maintain licensing and vehicle registration
- Coordinate emergency road side assistance
- Complete daily vehicle inspections
- Prepare of accident reports
- Annual vehicle inspections
- Coordinate tickets and citation payments
- Provide shuttle service
- Provide and monitor motor coach services (where applicable)
