PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting

Start your academic pursuit towards a rewarding career in accounting through the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting degree program at the University of the District of Columbia. At UDC, not only do we offer small class sizes (15 students on average), but you'll receive an in-depth curriculum from an experienced faculty consisting largely of certified public accountants (CPAs).

Endorsed by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and offering internship opportunities with renowned firms like Deloitte, CohnReznick and more, you'll receive a degree and so much more! Our program and its curriculum are offered at a fraction of the cost compared to other institutions, ensuring a quality education within your means.

Explore our campus and our offerings and get ready to develop lifelong connections! During your journey toward your Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting degree, we encourage you to join one of our active student organizations, like the UDC chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants or the UDC Accounting Club. For additional skillset development, you can even gain real-world accounting experience by helping residents in the District with their taxes through UDC's IRS-authorized tax clinic.

At UDC, we recognize the importance of developing a broad understanding and nuanced perspective regarding problem-solving and innovation. To ensure that you're provided with the best we have to offer, we decided to house our individual BBA programs under one roof to allow you the option to concentrate on a specific area, be it Marketing or Management Information Systems.
