Spring 2025 Semester Final Examination Schedule
May 7 – 13, 2025
Final examinations will be given based on the time(s) and day(s) your courses meet during the semester. For example, if your course meets at 8:00 a.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays, your final examination will be held on Monday, May 12, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. See the special note below on Degree Completers.
Final exams for Friday/Saturday classes will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, during regular class hours.
Final exams for Saturday classes will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, during regular class hours. Final exams will take precedence over Commencement for Saturday classes.

Attention
- For classes not covered by this schedule, final exams must be scheduled after May 7, 2025.
- Final Exams OPEN for Spring 2025 Degree Completers on April 28, 2025, and CLOSE NLT 1:00 p.m. on May 2, 2025. Grades for Degree Completers must be submitted NLT 5:00 pm on May 6, 2025.
- For those classes offering a culminating experience alternative to a final exam, such as a presentation or final report which does not require an exam time to be assigned, the College or School Dean must notify the Office of the Registrar that specific class will not hold an exam via the Final Exam Schedule. Classes will be assigned an exam block unless this explicit action is taken. Colleges and Schools are provided an opportunity to review the Final Exam Schedule before it is released to the University community.
- Per policies approved by the Office of the Chief Academic Officer, final exams are to be administered only within the dates specified in the Final Exam Schedule. Changing the time of a final exam, in many cases, leads to: conflicts in students’ exam schedules; potential classroom conflicts; and students experiencing more exams in a single 24-hour period than is reasonable. Therefore, final exam changes are subject to both the Dean’s and Registrar’s approvals.
