The University of the District of Columbia Workforce Development and Lifelong Learning Division (UDC-WDLL) is excited to announce the Summer 2024 Community Resource Day. The event will provide District Residents with information about the wide range of community-based services and resources available to them. The key objectives of the event are to increase District Residents’ awareness and to provide real-time opportunities for connection to the community-based resources readily available to them, particularly Residents living in Wards 7 and 8.
The event will take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will be able to learn, network, and meet with representatives from community-based organizations such as the Department of Housing and Urban Development and Housing Counseling representatives to learn more about achieving homeownership in their communities. Additional participating community-based resources and representatives will include a Narcan demonstration and legal and rehabilitation services. Additional resources are being added daily.
UDC-WDLL invites all District Residents to come, learn, and connect with the dynamic services and resources available to them. For more information, follow WDLL Online: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter | Web.
