Transfer Students
If you have been admitted to UDC as a transfer student, your transfer credit evaluations will be completed within 21 business days of you completing your enrollment (Step 1, above), and a receipt of all official transcripts for all schools attended. Once your evaluation is complete, you will receive a notification via email and can then view credits accepted by signing into your myUDC portal, my.udc.edu, and selecting QuickLaunch > Degree Works.
International Students
As an international student, additional steps before an I-20 may be issued, beyond the steps outlined in section 1. To access the necessary forms, visit our Step-by-Step Guide for International Students [link]. If you are in need of an I-20 for the F-1 student visa, please submit the following:
- I-20 Eligibility form
- Copy of passport ID page
- Notarized Affidavit of Financial Support
- Bank Statement or Bank Letter, dated within the last six months, verifying liquid funds (see pg. 2 of Financial Affidavit for the minimum amount required)
If you already reside in the US and are holding a valid F-1 student visa, please provide the documents in addition to those listed above for the transfer of your I-20 to UDC:
- Copy of your current I-20
- Copy of your visa
- Copy of your most recent I-94 card
- Transfer-In form signed by your current Designated School Official (DSO)
Please submit the requested documents attached in ONE email to international@udc.edu with a cc to UDCtranscores@udc.edu. ALL submitted documents must be received by June 1 (for fall semester) and November 1 (for spring semester). Please include your name and student ID# in the body of the email. If you do not adhere to this deadline, you will have to update your admission term to the next eligible term of enrollment by completing an Application Update Form or reapplying for admission.
