This webinar provides a brief history on the development of human subject protections and ethical issues in research. We will discuss the practical guidance for students and faculty who are interested in research and how to submit requests to the Institutional Review Board committee. The webinar provides helpful tips for students and faculty to manage the IRB review process. Human subjects training, informed consent, and other important topics are discussed in the presentation.
