Assistant professor of social work appointed to Council
Dr. Krystal Dozier, assistant professor of social work, has been appointed as a member of the Council on the Role and Status of Women in Social Work Education through the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) for a three-year term effective July 1, 2022-June 30, 2025.
A council of the Commission on Diversity and Social and Economic Justice, it works to eliminate all procedures within academia that hinder the full participation of women, makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on all matters of policy, and initiates and coordinates programs and activities related to women in social work education.
Founded in 1952, the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) is the national association representing social work education in the United States. Its members include over 750 accredited baccalaureate and master’s degree social work programs and individual social work educators, practitioners, and agencies dedicated to advancing quality social work education.
