- Establishes policies, behavioral expectations, rules, and regulations for all students
- Sets behavioral expectations for civility, integrity, and ethics
- Defines due process for handling violations
- Identifies possible sanctions
- The highest priority is to maintain the intellectual and educational climate of the University
- This document protects the physical, mental health, safety, and welfare of each member of the University
- The code ensures students’ privacy rights consistent with the Family Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA)
