NASA OPPORTUNITIES AWARENESS WORKSHOP TO MIDDLE, HIGH SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY COLLEGE

The NASA funded Center for Advanced Manufacturing in Space Technology (CAM-STAR) at University of the District of Columbia (UDC) will offer virtual summer workshop program that provides NASA themed and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) skills enrichment activities to local young leaders in middle school, high school, and college students.

NASA Opportunities Awareness Workshop provides interactive sessions on NASA research, education, and career opportunities. It includes invited presentations and panel discussions by invited speakers from NASA and Space Industry. The workshops will also include project-based hands-on activities focused on computer programming (python coding), Advanced Manufacturing (3D printing, Nano-manufacturing) & Space Technologies to increase the STEM awareness and readiness of next-gen workforce.
