OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
CAM-STAR aims to cultivate a diverse workforce in aerospace research and technology development while creating a clear pathway for careers at NASA or other advanced degree programs. To achieve this, CAM-STAR offers a STEM Outreach Program for high school and community college students, focusing on the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing and space technology. This program includes the following activities:
NASA OPPORTUNITIES AWARENESS WORKSHOP
NASA Opportunities Awareness Workshop provides interactive sessions on NASA research, education, and career opportunities. It includes invited presentations and panel discussions by invited speakers from NASA and Space Industry. The workshops will also include project-based hands-on activities focused on Advanced Manufacturing (3D printing, Nano-manufacturing) & Space Technologies to increase the STEM awareness and readiness of next-gen workforce.
