OUTREACH ACTIVITIES
CAM-STAR aims to provide a diversified workforce in, aerospace research, and technology development, and streamline the pathway to pursue a professional career at NASA or advanced degrees. To archive this, CAM-STAR offers STEM Outreach Program for high school and Community colleges with a focus on development and implementation of Advance Manufacturing and Space technology. This STEM Outreach Program constitutes the following activities.
NASA OPPORTUNITIES AWARENESS WORKSHOP
NASA Opportunities Awareness Workshop provides interactive sessions on NASA research, education, and career opportunities. It includes invited presentations and panel discussions by invited speakers from NASA and Space Industry. The workshops will also include project-based hands-on activities focused on Advanced Manufacturing (3D printing, Nano-manufacturing) & Space Technologies to increase the STEM awareness and readiness of next-gen workforce.
