The College of Agriculture Urban Sustainability and Environmental Sciences (CAUSES) hosted Dr. Rakesh Chandra Agrawal, deputy director general of agriculture education and national director of the National Agriculture Higher Education Project (NAHEP) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research in New Delhi, India, tours the Firebird Research Farm in Beltsville, Md. The potential outcome of the visit is a multilateral Memorandum of Understanding with the World Bank, Indian universities, UDC and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for student recruitment, faculty exchange and research collaboration between New Delhi and Washington, DC.
