Dr. Briana Wellman, an associate professor of computer science in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at the University of the District of Columbia, has been selected to receive a “Technology Rising Star” award at the upcoming 2023 Women of Color STEM DTX Conference on Friday, October 13, 2023, at 3:00 PM in Detroit, Mich.
