Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade
The United Nations (UN) has designated March 25 as the annual International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. It honors the lives of those who died because of slavery or experienced the horrors of the transatlantic slave trade.
