President Mason to Serve as Grand Marshall at MLK Parade

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President Mason has been asked to serve as a Grand Marshal for the 16th Annual MLK Holiday Peace Walk and Parade on Monday, January 16 at 11:00 a.m. Participants will assemble at the RISE Center on the campus of St. Elizabeth’s at 2700 Martin Luther King Jr., Ave SE. The parade will proceed onto Martin Luther King Jr. Ave SE, and continue north on MLK (towards downtown Anacostia), pass the reviewing stand on MLK between V and W Streets, S.E., and turn left into Anacostia Park at Good Hope Road. The parade will end at 2:00 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.
