Women’s Cross-Country Team Wraps up Fall Season With Seasonal Best Performance

UDC’s women’s cross-country team concluded its fall season at the ECC Championship on Saturday, November 5. Ayesha Jarrett crossed the line first, clocking in at a season-best time of 21:42.2. Samantha Morrison, Tukey Francis and Dayna Thompson were next, running season/personal best times of 24:32.0, 25:15.0 and 25:17.2. Janel Baxter and Isatu Bah split 25:22.3 and 25:34.6. The Firebird team had their seasonal best performance, with all student-athletes clocking in under 26 minutes for the first time.
