
Dr. Angelyn Spaulding Flowers, professor and coordinator of the Homeland Security Graduate Program, and Professor Cotina Lane Pixley, clinical instructor in the Crime, Justice and Security Studies Program, were awarded $10,000 by the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Higher Education Directorate (FEMA HiEd) for their work on the impact of climate change on emergency management, with a particular focus on its impact on marginalized and underserved communities.
