The 2022 Miss Black USA pageant will air live on Fox Soul on Sunday, August 7, at 6 p.m. at the UDC Performing Arts Theater on the Van Ness campus. The pageant was founded in 1987 by Karen Arrington, who aims to provide a national stage for participants to showcase their unique talents and beauty and win scholarship opportunities. The Miss Black USA pageant is the first and largest scholarship pageant for women of color. Dr. Monique Guillory, chief of staff, will provide opening remarks during the show, and UDC will offer a full tuition scholarship to the winner. Tune in to watch the show live on Fox Soul.
