UDC Rover team successfully competed at 2018 NASA Human Exploration Rover Challenge last week for the FIRST time. UDC team won the 2nd place among the all-rookie teams, and the 7th place overall. A total of 100 teams joined the competition this year, which include domestic teams such as Alabama A&M University, Auburn University, Texas A&M University, Ohio State University, Purdue University Northwest, University of Huston, and international teams from Europe, India, and South America (https://www.nasa.gov/roverchallenge/competition/index.html). The rover designed and built by our students is proven to be successful: it tackled all major obstacles and it meets all the weight, dimension and assembly requirements.
