The UDC’s Center for Learning Advancement provides a diverse spectrum of services tailored to meet the needs of the university community. CAL Office Hours
CAL offers walk-in and Virtual Office Hours throughout the week.
Consultations
CAL provides consultations related to instructional design and technologies.
Peer Review
CAL coordinates official Quality Matters peer reviews processes to evaluate UDC distance learning courses, provide feedback, and allow for revisions.
Proffesional Learning Communities (PLCs)
CAL facilitates Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) that work collaboratively to improve teaching skills and student learning outcomes.
Certifications
The Center for the Advancement of Learning offers diverse training programs for UDC faculty, covering digital teaching, course design, and assessment. These meticulously designed programs equip faculty members with essential skills to enhance their teaching effectiveness.
